Adam Zucker
American sportscaster (born 1976)
Adam M. Zucker (born October 27, 1976) is a sportscaster who works for CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network. He has been with CBS Sports Network since 2003 as the College Sports Television anchor.
Early life and education
[edit]Zucker is a native of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey,[1] and a 1994 graduate of Mountain Lakes High School, which inducted him into its hall of fame in 2016.[2][3] He graduated from Syracuse University's S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1998 with a degree in broadcast journalism.[4][5]
Career
[edit]Zucker began his career as a sideline reporter and as an on-site host for football games for the Syracuse Radio Network. He also worked as a sports reporter and sports anchor for local television stations: WBRE-TV and was a sports reporter at WTVH-TV.[5]
CBS Sports
[edit]Zucker is a studio host for CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network, hosting College Football Today, Inside College Football, Inside College Basketball and providing in-studio updates during the NCAA Tournament, among other things.[4] He has also called CBS Sports Spectacular's coverage of the College Home Run Derby. Bio
Adam Zucker is an art historian, curator, artist, educator, and lifelong New Yorker. He holds an M.A from the City College of New York in Art History/Museum Studies. From 2011-2014, Adam was the co-founder and artistic director of et al Projects, a Brooklyn based gallery committed to showing emerging contemporary artists and under recognized historical artists. As an independent curator, he has organized multiple gallery and museum exhibitions. He is a co-founder, curator, and the Director of Education at alt_break, an alternative art fair that provides free and accessible contemporary art programming and exhibitions through partnerships with local, community-based nonprofits. His writing has been published in Berkshire Fine Arts (online), Sculpture Magazine, Black Cat (online art journal), and several exhibition catalogs. Adam is the founder and author of the Rhino Horn Group blog, a contemporary discourse on socially engaged art and figurative painting; and Artfully Learning, where he writes about contemporary art through the lens of education.
