    Shruti Parthasarathy has been learning the divine art form of bharatanatyam, Indian Classical dance, since the age of five. Initially, Shruti began her training at the Mandir of Madison and continued under Smt. Meenakshi Ganesan. She completed her arangetram, or dance graduation, at the young age of 11 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (2013), in the esteemed presence of Sri V.V Sundaram.

    Currently, Shruti is under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Medha Hari, Bharatanjali and was blessed to be apart of a production for her Grand Guru Smt. Anita Guha. She has given various solo and group performances across the United States and India, ranging from two hour solo recitals to participating in fundraisers and outreach programs.

    At the age of 15, Shruti, was awarded as a Finalist, the highest honor given, by The National YoungArts Foundation for her exceptional artistic achievement in the performing arts category for Bharatanatyam. According to the program, it "identifies and nurtures the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, design, and performing arts." Shruti has now joined the prestigious youngarts alumni who have gone to become leaders in their fields.
