Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck was born at JDWNRH in Thimphu on 4th June 1990.

She then received a convent education at St. Joseph's Convent in Kalimpong, West Bengal, India, from 1999–2000.

Her Majesty then began her tertiary education by enrolling at Regent's College in London,where she graduated International Relations with Psychology and Art History as minor subjects.
Following her wedding (13th October 2011) to the King, Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck has accompanied His Majesty on all royal tours.
